On the mend.... time to celebrate!

Since we have all been feeling better, we decided to go out and celebrate! At Little C's request, we went Bowling for FHE. Of course, the two boys scored higher than me. Oh well!

Little C INSISTED on wearing this hat to the bowling alley!

There's nothing like a Hospital stay to ring in the New Year!

As most of you know... Little C has been sick several times since Christmas. Unbeknownst to us, his ear infections had turned into a chest cold that closely resembled Pnumonia. (As his Asthma ALWAYS has him coughing when he gets sick, we weren't overly concerned.) We took him into the doctor (for the un'teenth time) on Sunday, Jan. 10th. They had us get chest x-rays (from the local hospital) and a few breathing & oxygen tests. His doctor told us to go home and give him several nebulizer treatments that afternoon, and asked us to come back at 8:00 pm. Unfortunately, his oxygen levels weren't improving. His doctor said he would have to go to Primary Childrens Hospital to help get this under control. (sigh!) .... So, at 10:00 pm, we packed the car and headed to Primary Childrens (oxygen tank in tow). Here are a few pics from this "adventure".

Recent events

Recently, we haven't been up to much. Jesse and I are both LOVING our new callings and keeping pretty busy with them. We have been having fun with some friends in the ward. It is so nice to have great friends to do things with. We had a great Christmas with our families. We kept this years budget pretty small and surprisingly we were able to keep to it. :) It really helped us stay focused on the true meaning of Christmas. Here are some pics from our events in December.

Christian was SO grumpy Christmas Eve & Christmas day. (Major side effect of medicine for Crup) He would NOT smile for any pictures.

Enjoying his Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa.
